I was one of the other people who had to file with Paypal for a Magneto helmet transaction gone bad, but I'm sure I'll be able to get one from a reputable RPFer when my money comes back.
With that in mind, I was thinking about how to display it, since I'm not intending to cosplay. I found an eBay shop selling cheap mannequin heads that actually look older, and I thought maybe with some painting and the helmet (since the helmet really covers a lot) it would probably look pretty cool. I'll be aiming for a comic-style rather than First Class, so he has to look... distinguished.

Has anyone else done this, or something similar?
Since it's polystyrene, I thought I might have to weigh it down and use a special kind of paint, or prime it first or something since the surface won't be smooth. I could also look into clay, or making a mould and casting. The chin and nose are both too narrow, and his chin doesn't have the... I don't know what it's called, in it, like Magneto does in most of the busts of him, but I think with the helmet on, bushy white eyebrows, it would probably be decent.
Just looking for input, opinions, ideas, similar stuff, how others have displayed helmets, etc.
