finished Highlander 1 Conner Sword with Saya and frog/belt

Here is then first and official Highlander 1 film sword replica, using a ronin katana elite blade, this sword is many months in the making with hours of research and many do overs. the saya was modified by hand adding the kozuka knife slot using chisels and dremell. The the saya was wrapped and fitted with real leather, and hand stitches closed, it's very tight and has no rolls or kinks. The saya fittings are hand poured silicon bronze and each fitting had to be adjusted by hand to fit properly, no off the shelf fittings here. Then the handle was cast from the original screen used hero sword, utilizing the point gallery battle worthy system, incorporating Kevlar, carbon fiber and more. The handle is pinned twice, one hidden steel pin near the tsuba and the bronze screw at the neck that goes through the tang. The tsuba is water jet bronze, hand filed and hand polished with a bit of an aged patina look. This is a one of a kind sword, the first of a small line of battle ready highlander film props....
