Building John Winchester's Journal

I am starting to put together the full set of journal pages now so I am starting a new thread to document the build. I will show the pages in order of their appearance in the show as I build them. I am using a simple binder to store the pages for now.

I intend to build the full year of monthly pages, the "special" pages and some of the ephemera. When finished, they will go into the Junkyard as a set.

Any comments or critiques are welcomed. Any help is very much appreciated. :)

1.01 - Pilot

According to Dean in 1.09, the first page of the journal (under the photos on the right) is the "I went to Missouri and I learned the truth" page (seen in 1.09). Need some Vietnam photos for the right page.

Dean is arrested and the Deputy is flipping through the journal.

Here I am deviating from the prop. The text under the bridge photo is the same as on the left page. It is the "A coroner's spokesman..." fill text that is used throughout the prop. For my daughter's journal, I intend to put different text on that page. For the Junkyard package, I will leave it blank. The photo, which I created in Photoshop is included.
