This is my first project. I'm doing it because I saw a few of these on the web and wanted to try doing this myself. I haven't hit this with any water or dirt or anything yet, so it's just basically abused right now.

I thought wadding it up and stressing it would kind of hide the lines from it being folded, but it just made them pop more. o_O

This is just done with the little saw that comes in a multi-tool. I rolled the map up and hit the edge where it's rolled with the saw a bit and got a really frilled edge. When I water it, it should (I hope) make some of the bits fall off naturally and give it some good wear.

I tore a few chunks off of it already. Probably going to hit it with sand paper over the date made, copyright info and stuff. Been thinking about burning it a little, but idk if I really like that look for this map.
-------------------------------------------
So far I'm happy with it for the most part. I wish the creases weren't in it, but whatever... it's just for me, so I can handle it. Any tips would be appreciated. Just remember this is my first project, so be gentle. :-P
