So, aside from HOOK being my all time favourite movie, I also adore some of the props that were featured in the film. About two weeks ago I decided I wanted to build Peter's sword....so here's my progress so far.

The blade is solid Smoothcast 300 with a metal rod embedded into it. The handle is a piece of scrap wood I had lying around that I weathered to look more.....worn. The guard is a combination of styrene, bondo, smoothcast 300, and insulation foam.
I still have quite a bit to do but I'm getting very close to completion. I'm looking into getting the blade chromed gold to closely match the hero prop. I realize this is not a perfect replica, but it sure looks the part, and I have had a blast building it.
