Long time lurker, usually just admiring props and talent here, all the while learning things and what to do for my first project.
Zer0, from Borderlands 2, helmet build is what I have decided. I'm going to approach this via the Pepakura path, resin and fiberglassing.
I'm using JTM1997's pepakura model for the helmet. I just have a few questions aimed at people who have approached this the same way before printing out on expensive paper :p
- Did you/should I resize the pepakura file? It's at 280mm (Says it's made wider to fit), but I read somewhere I should put it to 300mm, though 280mm printed out on some draft seems pretty big already.
- Of course I want to see out of it, is vacuum forming the only way of making a visor/lens?
Any other tips/guides would be appreciated (Maybe a better way to approach this!) :)
