Movie-themed Restaurants and Bars

Stumbled upon a few restaurants and bars on Gallivant.com that are pretty cool. Anyone ever been to any of these?

For you Dark Knight lovers: The Eden Hotel, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan:

Somehow "I am the night!" just doesn't have the same effect when you're shouting it at a Super 8. The Eden Hotel, on the other hand, is the perfect venue for your Batman obsession, as it offers an entire room modeled after the Batcave. Inside, you'll find rough, rock-like walls, a mini-Tumbler, a flat screen mounted on a potentially IP-infringing logo cutout, and a surprisingly modern, open restroom — presumably so you can keep an eye out for villains as you wash off the Bat-grime. But that's not the crazy part: the real kicker is this room rents by the hour.

Want to stay in Luke Skywalker's childhood home?
Hotel Sidi Driss, Matama Ancienne, Tunisia

Let's see: it's in the desert, it's literally a hole in the ground, and the accommodations are far from ideal. So why would you stay at the Hotel Sidi Driss? Because Luke Skywalker did. The hotel is operating inside the former set of Luke's boyhood home, and while you won't find a lot of props here, you can visit Aunt Beru's kitchen, sit in the Lars family dining room, and have a drink at the well-stocked bar. Plus, it's only $10 or so a night, and is within driving distance of a number of other Star Wars filming locations.

Fan of Alien?
HR Giger Museum Bar, Château St. Germain, Gruyères, Switzerland

We can certainly think of more pleasant places to have a drink, but if you like your beer dark and your aliens scary, make a visit to the HR Giger Museum Bar. Designed by Giger himself, the bar's space recalls an ancient castle, but is covered in the skeletal designs he made famous when creating the monster from Alien and its environment. Be sure to visit the museum — which houses the largest collection of the artist's work, from the early '60s through now — while you're there.

And for you Big Lebowski lovers, there's the Lebowskibar, Reykjavík, Iceland

This is our concern, dude. Hidden away in Reykjavík, Iceland is the Lebowskibar — an entire bar themed after The Big Lebowski. It's not just one bar, though — there's a bowling-themed area with a lane planted firmly on the wall, an indoor terrace with movie memorabilia, a diner area with checkered flooring that should be familiar to anyone who's watched the film, an upstairs lounge, and even an outdoor area on the roof. More impressive than all of that? The drink list, which features 17 different types of White Russians.
