Graflex cleaning questions for those in the know!

So I've been watching Graflex flashes for a while now on Ebay, and they just get more and more expensive... So tonight I see one go up with a buy it now of 140... (the last I saw went for $302)...

I'm about to hit "buy it now" but then stop and take a good look at it... it has "braising" as the seller put it...

I looked and looked... then searched online about chrome cleaning/restoration, and then finally thought "f@ck it.... someone is going to hit 'buy it now'... it may as well be me"

So I now have this flash being sent to me...

As I have never seen or held one of these flashes, and I have no idea what the finish is like, or if it can be restored, what are my options here for cleaning this up? is it a lost cause? did I strike gold... a diamond in the rough? Can it be rechromed?

I got some great offers from other board members, so I'm going to be bummed if I passed a better deal up.

I was going to run it through some people... but at the price Graflex's seem to be going for these days, I figured it would be gone by morning.

So that said... here are the pics... I can probably take better ones when I get it next week...

I guess at worst I can put it back up on ebay... but I'm hoping you guys have a good fix!

Thanks in advance...
