Hi every one,
What do you guys think?
This is a Classic Sonic Screwdriver that Russ did for me With Crackle Paint. I took it a few steps farther and made it a complete Custom.
Please Excuse my red fingers, had just panted it!
I first removed the Red anodized halo, did not like that look.
Took the Bullet off of a spare Russ Rep McGann Emitter Assembly, and striped of the paint.
Took the Existing black Emitter and glued it to the Bullet.
After that I inserted a small brass flat head screw in where the large one was before, just for effect with glue.
I then used my dremmel and made indentations on the black emitter to make the 2 protruding parts look more curved.
Then I masked off the bullet and the Attached black emitter as well as the inside of the Emitter and panted it with a nice Burgundy red.
I also masked off the inside of an extra Brass halo and two places on the main body too. bringing the red on to the body really looks good!
after painting, I removed the paint on the edges of the halo to bring out the brass color then re-assembled the Sonic.
Look beautiful!!
