Force A Nature WiP, new to prop building

Hello everybody,
This is my first post outside the welcome thread and I thought I should start with my current project. I'm doing Volpin's Force a Nature scaled down to 85%

If all goes well, I'll cast this up once it's done, but that's a little ways down the road :)

The first cut. Done with a scroll saw on MDF. I switched later to using PVC board and a sharp knife because that's what I'm used to.


Bulked out the shapes pvc board and filled some of the gaps with expanding foam. Then I shaved and sanded the foam to fit.


Filled out the rest of the gaps with more foam and here I'm coating the foam with wood glue to increase it's durability.

Basic shape for the barrels.


Now it kinda looks like a gun!
