I have my first official commission!
Not a big project but I have hit a few big snags...
So a friend from work is a Jedi fan and wants to go to anime north in full Jedi gear. He asked if I could make him the communicator Qui Gon Gin used in the Phantom Menace which was made from a Gilette Sensor Excel woman's razor (look it up lol)
Here is the problem, I made a deal on cost and time frame and took half the payment up front to pay for materials... Sadly , i found out that Gilette discontinued this dang razor about 3 years ago! Jerks!
So I was stuck in a hard spot with a deadline. Luckily, my client is both flexible and trusts me to make it work...
So enter Plan B!
