So I just thought I would throw this up and see what people think of it earlier this year a friend of mine asked me to make this for him for an anime convention 2 weeks away at the time I was rushing to finish the patching up of my iron man suit so I was rather strapped for time and this is what I came up with. it was based out of cardboard to start.

next we decided the fast way to build it was to just cover it in expanding foam and carve it down

and then after that it was obvious that we would need to fill in a lot of gaps including one major problem being that one half of the mask was way lower than the other. Of course the smart thing to do would have been go buy some more foam and just keep filling it and carving but see we arnt very smart and decided instead that we would use bondo to fill this massive thing in because that wouldn't end up weighing near 20 pounds at all. So yeah we used bondo.

unfortunately I ran out of bondo before I could finish the horns and with one day until the con I just decided to paper mache them and hope nit worked and to be honest it could have been worse. We had also planned to use a Styrofoam ball for the eyes but I just got lazy and said **** it also worth mentioning is that it has no eye holes as I forgot to put them in before bondo, ah the wonders of a rushed build. Anyway next was paint. it was all hand painted with $1 acrylic paints from michaels in one sleepless night. I don't think it came out to bad.

and with that I called it finished unfortunately he couldn't actually wear it and just had to hold it in place for pictures but he was happy with it everyone else loved it and I got paid woot. I don't remember the exact measurements of how massive this thing was but here is a video that he got in with it and he is about as tall as me so roughly 6'3 so the thing is pretty massive.
thanks for giving this a look how do you think I did with a week to work not to mention ive never played a Zelda game in my life and had no idea what I was doing.
cheers
