Star Trek III Props Reference Images Needed

Hi All,

Recently my husband and I acquired a 4x8 CNC router, and I'd like to make my prop fantasies come true; a complete set of ST:III landing party props.

Because of past traumatic brain injuries, I don't have the hand-eye coordination necessary to hand-sculpt...well...anything, so I'm going to model these props in 3d and then sculpt them on our router. I hope that's not considered cheating.

If someone can point me to high-quality images and measurements of the Phaser IIB, Communicator, and Tricorder, I'd really appreciate it. :)

I already have a Phaser IIB and Communicator modeled, but I think I'm going to modify them/start over.

I'm looking to make quality display pieces, so I'm requesting the best images possible. If anyone has screen-used props, I'd absolutely love a variety of photos from as many angles as possible and a set of measurements. ;)

I'd also love a link to a great blinky-LED wiring tutorial if you know of one. I can do simple circuits, but I don't really know where to start for blinking LEDs, especially multiple LEDs blinking in sequence.

The ST:III props are my favorites of all the movies and series, and I really want a set of my own. I can't afford to buy them from others, and I have the equipment, so why not make them myself? :D

On another note, we saw a video a few days ago on building a super-simple vacuforming setup, so we went out and bought everything necessary to build that, as well.

I'm not looking for 3d models, but if you have vectors that I could use in modeling, that would be great, too!
