Hi everybody!

This is my second commision that I do, but the first I post. This was a difficult prop to me because it was the first time I worked with plastics ( XPS and HIPS), and I make a lot of mistakes searching the good path.

And here is it. You can see more good pics at my website, and a lot of poor quality pics of the process in my facebook page.

What can I say about things that I need change?

-The paint process:

Paint -> mud and grime -> dry brush -> varnish.

I think that I was wrong. The good process will be...

Paint -> varnish -> mud and grime -> dry brush.

...right?

-Pieces made with XPS:

XPS is lightweight, but its easy to dent with your finger. The main problems is that a lot of "cool" products dissolve it, and it was a bad idea for coating. Probably I must take another way in the future...

This is a technic that I discovered: primer XPS with acrylic epoxi paint: when it dries, you can glue it with cyanocrilate, or primer it again with poliurethane. It could be helpful in some cases...

-Nitro primer

It s*cks. Or maybe I don't know how to use it (the second may be). When it dries, start to cracks, and I must sand it and primer again with acrylic paint. D:

And I think that this is all.

Thanks for reading :D
