So I'm attempting to make at least one of Fili's swords from The Hobbit out of foam, this is probably the most complex design I've attempted, I have some experience with foam as I've made the Predator pistol from Mass Effect and made some armour for one of my costumes.
But I'm stuck on this one, one of the problems is that I have no idea how to make the handle and the other problem is what is the best way to get rid of the seams where I've layered the foam sheets? I've been told I should use liquid latex, are there any other methods?
