My name is Mike and I'm a long-time lurker on this forum. I rarely post, but just recently have tried to become more involved.
I have a question that I couldn't find an answer to when using the search function.
I purchased one of the E.T. stunt puppets that NECA came out with and am wondering what, if anything, I could do to help stave off the deterioration of the foam over time. On the website, the puppet is listed as being made out of both foam latex and foam rubber. Does that present an issue? I would assume that heat/cold, levels of humidity, and exposure to direct lighting would, in time, degrade the material.
Ideally I'd like to find a product that seals the foam to protect it, something clear that sprays on, but after looking around here I couldn't seem to find anything like that.
Any tips would be whole-heartedly appreciate!
