My tinkering with character options sonic

May be a bit short , typed this out and my ipad battery went !

I decided to see what i could do to make the toy a bit more accurate , i mean its not meant to be as good as some of the builds on here but just a bit of fun in my spare time.

Holding the CO against TWC sonic remote it looks like the handle is the main size difference , I wanted to remove the cap and cut it to size but turns out its glued on so had to cut it off then pick the plastic out , I then cut the handle down as much as i could so its now not far from the prop size.

i then had to get the inside section down to size so cut out some of the battery tray to fit the 3 battery's in there , it was still a little short though so tried to cut out the inside of the handle , i was going nowhere when i then found it would work off just two battery's. I cut the base off , trimmed it down and melted the base back on with a soldering iron :lol Not that pretty but it works !

I then cut/extended the slot for the slider on the handle and it fits :)

I need to decide what to do with the button , I had planned to just cut a new screw hole and use the prongs on the slider but it dosnt seem to work well after my mods like this and the button came off the wires anyway so may as well relocate it , Iv cut a bit out the little cap and trimmed the bit the screw goes in to i could put the button here but not sure how to route the wires without it catching in the handle , Any tips please let me know ...

Im going to wire it to be a switch on the battery as well so i can have the normal sonic noise all the time as well.

So here it is for now , Hopefully i can sort the wiring out in the next day or so and have sanded it down ready to be painted , I have ordered both colony cream and heritage gold , Id planned to keep it a tenth sonic but think that with the button moved it might look better as a 9th ....?

There is still a little bit of room to cut out some of the bottom section but seems a shame as its already the correct lenth , its just the handle and top section that's still slightly to large.

TWC on the bottom , Customized CO next then a standard CO
