I just thought you all would like to know how awesome Bryan is. I own 5 EFX helmets and one EFX saber. Obviously I like their products. I needed some help with an EFX helmet I got in the secondary market. I did not buy this from EFX and they was under no obligation to help. I emailed customer service and a Bryan emailed me back that he could take care of it no problem and would give me a call. I had no idea this was Bryan the owner. I just figured it was another guy named Bryan.

Monday morning he called and said, "Hi this is Bryan owner of EFX." I was shocked and did not know Bryan did a lot of Customer service himself.

I rarely talk to people much outside of work, friends and family. I prefer email and teach Special Education for a reason. I usually get along better with my students than staff. Not sure what that says about me.

I had the most fun talking with Bryan. I told him he had to stop making so much good stuff and from there we talked for about fifteen minutes about props, EFX, us crazy fans, etc. It was great fun. I honestly could have talked to him all day but I figured he needed to go run his business.

He took care of my problem and was just a blast to talk to.

I have always loved the EFX products and as I have been building and selling a few of my own props I have come to appreciate why they cost what they do. When Master Replicas started I thought $300 for a lightsaber handle was crazy. As I learned more and also started building my own I understood it better.

Through various jobs I have had I have always understood logistics and why delays happen, especially dealing with a factory on the other side of the world. As a result I have never had a problem with delays and not knowing exactly when something may come in. That I always understood.

My only complaint with EFX was a lack of information and updates. I have to say after talking with Bryan and a little with Gino here and there since he went to work for Bryan I understand it a bit more. More important Bryan is such an awesome guy I say it's just fine. I'm not saying EFX is perfect and legitimate problems need to be addressed, HOWEVER just hearing a few stories about Bryan's dealing with the more extreme among us I have to say his job is quite difficult and we should be grateful he is there.

Honestly I never would have produced the Legend Vader. A lot of work for a very small number of fans who want a prop that does not look so nice even though it was supposed to. He went ahead and made that happen for us lunatics.

Pretty cool.

They got my business forever.
