Hey, so in doing some looking around I found a derwent engine
on eBay. It's listed as an early 50's model and is a cutaway
used for educational purposes. That being said that means that
the number of balance pipes inside is halved at least, but maybe
the seller has or can locate the remaining ones that were at one
time removed. I figure it's that or someone or a group of people
buys the engine. I have already asked the seller for more
information, as well as pictures and asked if they would be
willing to part out the balance pipes or if they know where
the others might be.
In case the seller does part them out, which is unlikely of course,
I just wanted to let you guys know so if anyone is interested in
getting a balance pipe, (assuming they are the correct ones)
you would be able to. Any ideas on how to go about this or what
to do are more than welcome
