Need help/advice - Han in Carbonite damaged during shipment

Hi all. I am new to the RPF, but have spent some time looking at numerous posts by some extremely talented individuals and can honestly say that I am blown away by what you guys/gals can do. That said, I am in need of some help/advice.

I recently bought a Han in Carbonite (custom made) and had it shipped from California to Ohio (don't get me started on how frustrating it was to ship something via freight). The driver was given strict instructions not to stack anything on the crate, yet upon arrival, there was a huge crack in the back-middle of the crate. Surprisingly, the hands of the HiC were fine, but there was a 5-inch horizontal crack across Han's stomach that resulted from whatever hit the crate.

Talking with the guy who made and sold me the HiC, he recommended that I use Elmer's glue to try to fill in and smooth out the crack (which I did) and then paint over it using silver paint and black wash (which I did). The crack is still noticeable. Given that, I want to file a claim against the shipper, but they are saying that I need to obtain a cost estimate as to what it would take to fix the damage from a local business or person. At that point, I had no idea where to find someone with this specialized talent.

The seller pointed me to the RPF forums as to a place where I might be able to find someone within the Dayton-Columbus-Cincinnati region that does these types of repairs.

Long story short - does anyone within these forums know of someone that I can contact? Thanks!
